Big congratulations are in order for the Clinch School team! Their outstanding commitment to showing up for our students recently earned them the top honors for February staff attendance.
To celebrate their hard work and reliability, the staff was treated to a special gourmet sandwich spread and sweet treat for dessert. It was a wonderful afternoon of great food and even better company.
Way to go, Clinch! Your presence makes a massive difference in the lives of our students and the success of our school.
Thank you for your dedication!

District Announcement: Online Kindergarten Registration for 26-27 is open!!! In-person registration at the school site will be May 1 and May 8 from 1pm to 3pm.

Progress towards readiness begins at birth and is influenced by families and friends, early care and education providers, and the community.

A ready child is prepared physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. This means that each child enters school ready to participate in and benefit from early learning experiences that best promote the child’s success so that they are eager and excited to learn.

If you have any questions, please contact the Elementary Supervisor, Hope Malone at 423.272.7629 EXT 2006

schedule change
Update: We have been in ongoing communication with the Hawkins County Sheriff’s office. We have no reason to believe that our students or staff are at risk. Therefore, we will be dismissed at our regular time. As a support for our community, the Sheriff’s office is maintaining a heavy presence in our area and are continuing to monitor as changes occur.

Hawkins County Schools have been made aware of a situation involving law enforcement that originated in Hancock County. Due to Clinch School’s proximity to the Hancock County line, we instituted extra safety protocols at Clinch in order to ensure all of our students and staff are safe. At this time, based on information from our law enforcement partners, we have no reason to believe that our school is exposed to any type of risk. School system administrators and local law enforcement are working together to ensure that if any changes need to be made to our operating status, we will do so.  Thank you. Please monitor for any updates.
